Do you do take custom orders?

I'm afraid I don't anymore. All original pieces are sold on a first come first served basis. Please subscribe for shop update announcements or follow on social media, (Instagram/Facebook)to see latest works.

I do not have a Paypal account , can I still buy?

The shop is currently set up to accept Paypal payments only (over time this will change) However you do not need a Paypal account to use Paypal, you can pay using your credit or debit card through them also. If you still don't want to use Paypal then the Etsy store takes many other forms of payment. 

 

How do I care for my print and how should I frame it?

The paper and ink that is used for the prints sold in the shop, means that it is fade resistant for over 50 years. To enable this and keep your print in pristine condition, we recommend them to be mounted/matted and framed behind glass, kept away from damp, excess heat and direct sunlight.

How do I care for my wooden hanger? Can I put it in my child's nursery?

All wooden hangers sold here are for indoor use only.
Wooden items are decorative art only and not toys. If you purchase one to hang in a child's room, please be aware that they contain small parts that could be pulled off ie: beads, bells etc
To look after your hanging original artwork I would suggest gently dusting regularly with a feather duster or gently wiping with a soft cloth. Hangers are all varnished but not recommended for outdoor use.

 

How eco friendly is Moonlight and Hares?

All prints come  packaged in biodegradable cellophane sleeves made of vegetable starch. Cards are sent mostly naked, but sometimes they may also be packaged in a biodegradable sleeve too.

All items are sent in cardboard pip boxes or board backed envelopes using paper parcel tape. Sometimes your item may arrive in 're-used' plastic bubble wrap  (on delicate original art items) but it is not bought specifically to pack items. Many of the notebooks are made of recycled card and paper. 

Wooden hangers are made of wood which has the FSC mark and 90% of the hangings attached to them are up-recycled bits found out and about, whilst browsing in charity shops car boot sales etc. The string used on hangers is normally hemp or other natural fibres.

All printer cartridges are recycled/returned to Epson.

Licensing and Illustration work

I occasionally license images for illustration use. If you are interested in a particular work for your project then please get in touch using the the form on the contact page. Although in recent years I made the decision to concentrate on my own work I am still open to some Illustration commissions and am always happy to consider them. If you think yours is the job to entice me to get my paint brushes out, then do please get in touch!

Wholesale/Trade Orders

If you are interested in stocking Moonlight and Hares products (currently limited to cards only) in your 'bricks and mortar' shop (we do not sell to other online shops) please message and we will add you to our list. We are currently trying to set up a new easier way of selling wholesale, so at the moment it is temporarily on hold.
